Breathed Out is a static educational platform. We do not require account creation, login, or any form of registration to use the site.

We do not collect, store, or transmit personally identifiable information (PII) through our platform. Any preferences you set — such as reading progress or favorites — are stored locally in your browser and never sent to our servers.

Some features of Breathed Out (such as progress tracking and saved content) use your browser's localStorage or sessionStorage to remember your preferences. This data exists only on your device. Clearing your browser data will remove it.

We do not use cookies for tracking, advertising, or analytics purposes.

The Bible reader on this platform may make requests to the ESV API (api.esv.org) to retrieve scripture text. These requests include the passage reference you query. Please review the ESV API's own privacy policy for information on how Crossway handles API requests.

We use a demo fallback when the ESV API is unavailable. No personal data is transmitted in either case.

Breathed Out does not currently integrate third-party analytics (such as Google Analytics), advertising networks, or social media tracking pixels.

If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated and users will be notified via a notice on this page.

Breathed Out is designed for use by homeschool families, including children, under parental supervision. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13.

Since we collect no personal information from any user, this platform is safe for family use.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
